Every summer, holiday internships are available so you can discover the treasures of the 3 museums of Nyon and the Château de Prangins, with playful, artistic or scientific activities!

On the program: you’ll find a pop-up map in the shape of a submarine, a plaster catfish head, scientific experiments to discover the secrets of lake water, the observation of crayfish, behind-the-scenes aquaria, fish feeding, ceramics like the Romans and children’s games in Noviodunum, a treasure hunt in the Castle of Nyon, from the cellar to the attic, passing through the prisons, or even a day between a vegetable garden and video games at the Château de Prangins.

The summer internship is based at the Musée du Léman, near the lake, from where the children will discover the Roman Museum of Nyon, the Château de Nyon and the Château de Prangins.

Each day includes two activities, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Artistic, scientific or historical activities take place in one of the three museums in Nyon and in the Castle of Prangins.

Parents drop off and pick up their children at the Musée du Léman between 8.30am and 9am. In the evening, parents pick up their children between 5pm and 5.30pm.

At lunchtime, the children eat at the Musée du Léman or outside if the weather is fine. The cafeteria is also available. The picnic will be prepared in advance by the parents.

Apart from the activities themselves, there will be time to play in the gardens surrounding the Musée du Léman, or to rest in a dedicated room. There will also be time to read, using books from the Nyon Library.

The groups are composed of a maximum of 12 children and are supervised by two people at all times.
