For example, you can combine a scientific activity in the morning with an artistic activity in the afternoon.

After participating in the feeding of fish in the aquaria and/or collecting mussels on the lake (from April to October only), you’ll have the possibility to discover the diversity of animals in Lake Geneva: such as fish, birds, but also amphibians, insects or reptiles. To understand how a submarine works, you will have the possibility to build your own submarine and discover the innovations and the findings of this adventurous family.

What is the natural water cycle? What are the impacts of man’s actions on the environment? What are the challenges that await us tomorrow? What is each person’s responsibility? How can we act? To understand these questions in a concrete way, we propose laboratory experiments.

To create improbable and poetic objects by giving free rein to your creativity: driftwood, walnut shells, cut paper will be at your disposal and our animator, who is also an artist, is there to design the workshop best adapted to your needs and desires. More information on Créalac workshops.
8-16 year old. Duration: 2h. / Special tariff: CHF 150. From late April to late September only.
This is the perfect workshop to discover the diversity of aquatic invertebrates living in the river and understand their role in assessing the purity of the water. The children start by capturing invertebrates in the bed of the Boiron River, using landing nets. Then, they learn to identify them with the help of magnifying glasses and finally, they use their findings to measure the level of cleanliness of the river. Bring good boots!

This fun and educational activity is freely inspired by the game “Loup Garou”, well-known to children. Combining observation and deduction, permits to raise the awareness of primary and secondary school pupils to the themes of biodiversity, natural environments, nature in the city and biological corridors. The aim of the outings is to help children discover the wealth of their immediate environment.
