24 April 2008 - 25 January 2009
Plonk and Replonk, a famous collective of creators founded in 1997 in La Chaux-de-Fond, took over the Musée du Léman in 2008. Using images and objects, they offer an offbeat and humorous look at Lake Geneva. Lake hump, hairy trout, fire in the lake, past fishing practices, forgotten navigation instruments... a whole fantastic universe is revealed through their creations. The exhibition is a retrospective of old works dedicated to Lake Geneva, but also a presentation of new, unpublished pieces. A catalogue, devoted exclusively to images of Lake Geneva, has been specially published for this event.
